Good Sense Multi-Purpose is proudly fragrance-free. Fragrance (including some essential oils) can be harmful to people & pets, so we believe that fragrance-free is a safer way to clean.

Adding frargance to a product also adds to its carbon footprint (more ingredients = bigger carbon footprint).

And don't forget... fragrance isn't necessary, because CLEAN smells good.

Good Sense is made with the ingredients listed in the Ingredients section below, none of which are toxic to people, pets or aquatic life when used as directed.

Yes! When used as directed, Good Sense is safe to use around pregnant women, kids, and pets.

Good Sense Multi-Purpose is free from harsh antibacterial agents. It is formulated with Citric Acid: a natural, non-toxic acid with antibacterial properties (but it is not strictly a disinfectant). Good Sense also harnesses the power of surfactants to effectively remove bacteria from surfaces instead of killing them. Recent research shows that it isn’t healthy, or necessary, to kill every microorganism on a surface for it to be clean.

Good Sense Multi-Purpose is safe for use on most hard surfaces, but should not be used on unsealed stone. Because it’s mildly acidic, take care on painted surfaces, too. If you have any concerns, a patch test in an inconspicuous area is recommended.

Yes! Good Sense Multi-Purpose is biodegradable, which means it breaks down naturally without polluting water or soil.

You can use your own spray bottle, but ensure you use 10g of Good Sense Multi-Purpose Cleaning Concentrate for every 500ml of tap water.

The full ingredient list (because we believe in transparency and don’t have anything to hide in our 'no nasties' formula):

Citric Acid* – naturally found in citrus fruits, this ingredient tackles limescale and hard water buildup.

Sodium Benzoate – a preservative to keep the concentrate stable and effective over time.

Sodium Carbonate (Washing Soda)* – softens hard water so the cleaning concentrate can do its job better.

Sodium Dodecyl Benzene Sulfonate 80% – a surfactant, which means it lifts dirt so you can wipe it away. We use a synthetic version to avoid palm oil and its environmental baggage (think: deforestation, biodiversity loss, and labour issues).

Sodium Gluconate* – another hard water helper that keeps the formula working smoothly.

Sodium Sulphate* – prevents the powder from clumping, so it stays easy to scoop and mix.

Our Cleaning Concentrate pouch is made of paper, cellulose, and corn starch. It is home compostable.

Our refillable spray bottles are made of 100% recycled plastic, sourced from coastal areas where plastic is at risk of ending up in the ocean if not collected for recycling.

This recycling programme supports local communities at the forefront of ocean plastic waste in at-risk areas.

The pouch is made of paper, cellulose, and corn starch. Once empty, pop it in your home compost (yes, the zipper, too!) or take it to your local composting centre.

Our refillable spray bottles are intended to be used over and over again, but if you do need to dispose of it, just rinse it with tap water and pop it into your home/curbside plastic recycling bin or take it to your local recycling centre. The trigger spray can be recycled too, just separate it from the bottle before putting it in the recycling bin.

1. Fill the Good Sense reusable 500ml spray bottle three-quarters full with tap water (cold or warm, but not hot).
2. Add 4 scoops of Good Sense Multi- Purpose Cleaning Concentrate to the spray bottle.
3. Let the powder dissolve and top off with more tap water.
4. Attach the spray head and you are ready to spray! 

For best results, spray on hard surfaces and wipe away with a clean, dry cloth. 

The spray can be used immediately, but the powder may take a few minutes to fully dissolve. 

If any powder settles at the bottom of the bottle, gently swirl (with the spray head attached) until dissolved.

Sprinkle 2 scoops of Good Sense Multi-Purpose Cleaning Concentrate in your sink, tub or loo, add a dash of water and scrub, scrub, scrub! 

For best results, scrub with a cleaning brush or clean cloth.
